Gliding Dallas
↓TOURS
FROM PREVIOUS MONTHS↓
A Great Saturday Morning Glide
What
an absolutely great morning to glide the AAC and
Reverchon Park. Our two riders were great and we really look
forward in touring these two again.

Sailing On A Segway?
This
tour was more like sailing than gliding as the spring winds blew.
Never the less the group of nine riders had a good time seeing the
sites in Dallas. I think this will not be the last time most of
this group rides a Segway. Click

Dallas West End St. Patrick's
Block Party (Event)
What
a Sunday party this was. The West End was packed March 16th, 2008 with a party
going crowd. Bands played through-out the day as people lined up
to experience a ride on a Segway. We got a little carried away
taking pictures but look at the fun these people had.

Super Gliding On A Super Day
Two
of these riders didn't really come all the way from Japan to just
ride the Segway, but they had the chance while in Dallas! Again,
our riders lasted longer than the camera battery.

Gliding Dallas on a Segway
From
Oregon to New Jersey, everyone enjoys taking the Segway tour of
Dallas. It was obvious these two enjoyed every mile along the way.

A Family Segway Outing In Dallas
Now
this family has the right idea! Come to Dallas, ride a Segway, see
the sites, and have tons of fun. What better way to see Dallas
than on a Segway! Click here or the photo to see the pics.
On A Quiet Segway Day In Dallas
As
the days become longer, the glides become even more exciting with
Segway tours. Here we are showing off our great city of Dallas to
a Segway rider from Brazil.

March has arrived!
No horse rides, but this group was really excited about going to
Pioneer Plaza. The sun was a shining and the warm March breeze
made this glide in Dallas one to remember.

Endless Surprises
What
a fun glide! Seemed as if there was a surprise awaiting us at every turn.
With out a doubt, I'm sure this will not be the last time these three ride a
Segway.

batteries this time.
Smiling February Faces
February
comes to an end as these two enjoy the thrill of their 1st Segway
experience. Unfortunately the camera battery ran out of energy but these two
just kept on going. I thought they were going on a second tour before the
day ended. Click

Birthday Fun On The Segway
As
we all know, celebrating a Birthday with a surprise Segway glide is exciting
for anyone. No matter what the age! We had a great time introducing the
Segway to this couple, and as you can tell by the smile on their faces, they
had a great time too!

St. Louis Company Segway Tour
This
group was down from St. Louis for the hockey game, and thought what better
way to spend their Sunday in Dallas than on a Segway. The game didn't turn
out quite as they had hoped, but the Segway tour seemed to be a gliding
success for all.

Surprises Run Big At Ferris Plaza
It
happened like this! Here we are having fun and taking photos at the Plaza
when all of a sudden a huge gust of wind causes the fountain to drench one
of the gliders. Our camera caught the whole thing. Good thing she was
dressed in her Minnesota winter attire!

MystiQal - 2008 Dallas Mardi Gras Parade
(Event)
Dallas
Segway Tours teamed up with Wild Bill's Western Store in the Dallas West End
to create an awesome four member Segway Posse for the parade. With over 35 thousand
party goers, it was difficult to get photos, but we did manage to
get at least one of Wild Bill and his range partner Segway Slim tossing beads
from the Segways they rode.

Horsing Around In Late January
January
2008 may be coming to an end but our tour fun hasn't. Pioneer Plaza became
real interesting when one of our Gliders decided to trade her Segway in for
a horse. But after realizing the Segway would take her further,
we were off to Pioneer Cemetery.

Braving The Elements On A January Glide
Everyone
agreed, it got down right cold this day. But despite the chill, we all had a
great time gliding around downtown Dallas. Earlier this day, the fountain at
Ferris Plaza was frozen! That says it all.

Dealey Plaza Was A Bustle
The
day was full of water fountains, Long Horn Steers and more warm sunshine as
our 'Gliders' rode through Big D. Even the pigeons seemed to be having a fun
time. Click here or the photo to view the pics.
Fun In The Sun Weekend
The 5th and 6th of January proved an awesome weekend. Who can resist a
downtown glide when the temperature is in the mid 70's... We all had a
fantastic time doing the "Who Did What" at Pioneer Cemetery. It was
definitely a great weekend to get out and CELEBRATE.

A Chilly Day In December
As
many stayed warm in front of the fireplace, there were a few that enjoyed a
crisp chill and the sights and sounds of Big D. The Glide was certainly much
better than the football game that followed later that day.

Veterans Day Weekend Glides
Sunny
sky's and warm weather made Veterans Day Weekend 2007 great for Gliding. We
all had the Segway Glide Smile.

Sea Dogs Segway Orientation
(Event)
November
3rd and 4th of 2007 was a big hit at the Dallas West End when over 112
excited people participated in our free Segway orientation ride. The plaza
in front of Sea Dogs Restaurant and Patio was full of smiles and laughs both
days. Everyone had so much fun we will most likely do it again real soon.
